Auditability
Every action an agent takes is written to an immutable log: what ran, under whose authority, on which evidence, with what result.

The principle
If an agent did it, the record shows it. The log cannot be edited, entries cannot be removed, and people’s decisions are recorded with the same rigor as machine actions.
What every record holds
Written at the moment of action
- The action
- Task, inputs, model used and version, timestamped to the millisecond.
- The mandate
- The workflow, permission scope and person under whose authority the action ran.
- The sources
- Documents and records retrieved, with citations from answer back to source.
- The outcome
- Output produced, systems written to, and the decision trail where people intervened.

What the record enables
Per task, per mission, per quarter
- Answers for auditors
- Internal audit and regulators get the full trail without reconstruction: query the log, export the evidence.
- Disputes settled by record
- When a number is questioned, the record shows the source, the model and the approver. No archaeology.
- Operations you can tune
- The same log feeds observability: where missions wait, what models cost, which steps fail and retry.
